Ramp Up Your Success In Your Business

The English definition of Activity is: a situation in which a lot of things are happening or being done.  The work of a person, group, or organization to achieve something, and especially to make money.

So what does Activity have to do with the success of your business?

Lets say you have started your own business and have become an entrepreneur, meaning you have created a product or service to offer others and in return, you will profit or,  in my case, I am in direct sales and work with a company who has a product to offer and I have hopped aboard and became an independent associate running my own business for very little start up fees.

Speaking upon my experience and my approach as an independent associate, activity is vital to my business.  It is the spark that will determine the level of prosperity, success, and growth I will achieve.  It is the vehicle or heart beat so to speak in my business and as I and my team take action, that is when the beauty of activity comes to play.

If there is no activity, then there will be no success.  It really is just that plain and simple.

1. Share The Vision
I can not stress the importance of vision enough.   You have to see the mission, the path, the purpose, and the drive of the company or product and the impact it has on others.  When recruiting, the vision  goes beyond the fortune to be had and gained.  Its about sharing and communicating the big picture, what makes you tick and the genuine love you have for what you are doing with others in hopes that they see it too and that in turn they will pass the vision forward as well.

Keep the excitement going and NEVER lose site of the vision.  DO NOT FALL INTO THAT TRAP that income comes first... your reward will come in due time.  You should be constantly sharing with your team the the new changes and the new goals with your team and let the energy flow together as a team.


2. Take Risks
You have to be willing to step outside of the box knowing that you are going to fail, and you will at some point but you need to reach deep down within yourself and give it your all without knowing if your efforts were good enough.  Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose but when you fail you will walk away stronger.  You will learn what works and what has not and you will grow from each and every failure you encountered and come back smarter and fiercer.  

The hardest part for people is to overcome that fear of failure and being able to walk away stronger and more confident.  You need to believe and have the courage to walk away and continue to keep on going ... to not give up and prevail.

Step out of your comfort zone .. take risks .. improve .. accomplish .. repeat and then repeat again!!


3. Persistent and Consistent
Day after day you should be consistently working on building relationships and potential clients/customers.  The way to do this is find your niche and surround yourself with like-minded individuals and then you need to be able to cater to your audience and their needs. 

The key is repetition.  Whether you are connecting with new people online, reaching out to those in your hometown, you should always be looking to share with new people daily and how you could help them or why your opportunity or service would be of value and benefit to them.

And the most important is ... FOLLOW UP!!!  If you do not follow up, I do not care how persistent or consistent you are, you have just shot yourself in the foot.  Follow through with your clients or potential customers and you will build a stronger and respectable relationship with them. 

4. Motivate and Support
As a leader you should always motivating and supporting your team.  Stay connected with them and inspire them.  Remind them of the vision and always be asking what you can do to help them to further their progress.  You should always be helping your team to push forward and give them ideas and suggestions to encourage them to make their goals happen.  

Remember it is not about the "I" ... it is about the "WE" that makes dreams come true.  Your teams success, is your success, so giving them the knowledge, tools and support they need and showing your appreciation is really setting a good foundation and more leadership to come.

5. Reward 
When your team hits mile stones, you should acknowledge that.  Show them how proud you are of them.  Be involved in their success.  Scream it at the top of your lungs, let your other team mates know so everyone can congratulate them in the higher achievement.
